GS Viknesh

GS Viknesh is a writer cum director in the Tamil film industry. He was born on 21st September 1992. He completed his schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram and Santhome Higher Secondary School. He graduated in visual communication from DG Vaishnav College. Viknesh is married to Soundarya Gnanamurugan.

In 2009, when he was in school, NDTV Hindu organized a short film contest. He scripted the story My Perfect Holiday, and he got first place. In 2012, he directed a short film, Kasimedu Kadhal, which featured Lallu, Ajay, Kanimalar, and Sumathi. In 2013, Viknesh directed a short film, The Game. Besides directing, he acted in the film alongside Anandhi, Manoj, Nagaraj, and Rishika.
