R. Aravindraj

R. Aravindraj is an experienced and gifted Indian Film Director and Screenwriter who is known for his unique movies. He made his debut as a director in the Film Industry with the movie ‘oomai Vizhigal’(was released on 15th August 1986). The story revolved around a journalist trying to solve the case of the missing girls. With this film, Aravindraj made his name in the Film Industry. He introduced the Film Industry with a unique genre of action thriller, which after then was adopted by many film directors. The film was so popular that it had more than 150 days in the cinema. The movie has also been dubbed in Telugu Language due its high appreciation by the audience.

This genre became a trend and hence Aravindraj started directing and writing films of the same genre. Throughout the 1980’s he directed some remarkable films like ‘Uzhavan Magan’(released in the year 1987). The movie was a super-hit in the box office with its crime-thriller genre and it too ran for more than 100 days in the cinemas. In 1989 he directed another film called ’Thaai Naadu’ which also came out to be successful in the cinema due to its interesting and unique storyline.

He also started making appearances in his own films. After directing films, Aravindraj decides to enter the Television Industry and in 208 he directed the TV serial ‘Aranmanai Kili,’ which was aired on Vijay Tv. The show aired for almost two years and received appreciation from the audience. He has also been a part of the Television serial ‘ Nila Nila is a Tamil serial broadcast on the Sun TV cha >> Read More... ’(2019), which is being aired on Sun Tv. This brilliant film director and screenwriter has provided the Indian Film Industry with several great films, and his contribution to the Industry will always be appreciated.
