, also known as the Dhananjayans, are a dancing couple of India. She joined Kalakshetra after finishing her schooling in June 1952. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma with distinction in Bharathanatyam and Kathakali from Kalakshetra and was one of the leading female dancers from 1955 till 1968.
They both have been conducting an annual summer gurukulam camp at the Satchidananda Ashram, Yogaville, Virginia, USA, since the year 1988. The allotted teachers or Gurus try to spread awareness to their students of Indian culture, values and explicate the philosophy underlying Hinduism.
