Sanjay Jayaraman

Sanjay Jayaraman is an Indian-dancer-turned-actor. Dancing is his passion; in fact, he joined the 3rd season of the reality dance show, Jodi No. 1 and bagged the Best Individual Performer Award. After that, he juggled between Argentina and Brazil to conduct dance workshops and promote the Bollywood dance styles (Kuthu). Though dancing is his passion, he always wanted to become an actor, so he took an acting course at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. After that, he acted in Usman Sarjun’s Tamil short film entitled Kolza – The Rape, which was broadcasted on Bench Culture, a YouTube channel by Karthik Subbaraj.

He also acted and directed a video entitled Yellow Horizon, which was shot in Hong Kong. He also showcased the difference between the contemporary and traditional dance forms through his video entitled Acceptance. This video was selected at the Screenance Festival, which was held in Barcelona, Spain.
