Aadhavan

Aadhavan is an anchor-cum-mimicry artist who works in Adithya TV. He shot to fame and popularity through the show, ‘ Konjam Nadinga Boss’, which was aired on Adithya TV. The show itself is a laugh-riot show., as the anchor of the show went around the town asking the people to repeat a dialogue from a movie clip. This is almost a new kind of anchoring ever done on Indian television. When the passersby repeat the dialogues in the similar tone that was done by an actor of a respective movie, the anchor does a funny gesture and makes the audiences get into laughter.

The show has been well conceived. Even sometimes passersby are asked to sing a few lines from a song that has been launched on the same TV channel. Since Aadhavan is a mimicry artist, the job is done with ease by him. Adithya TV was also promoting the first-ever comedy tour titled, ‘ Comedy Express’ which was organized for the Sun TV network. The programme was aimed at generating interest in the minds of TV audiences who could give their exact responses to the respective TV channel for interesting promos that aired in Adithya TV, KTV, Sun Music and Sun Life Channels.

‘Comedy Express’ was like a 'tour programme' organized at strategic locations like Madurai, Tirunelveli, Dindigul, and Trichy. It was a gala event to get a wide response from the audiences and create awareness about the promos created by Sun TV and its associated channels. ‘Comedy Express’ was also a non-stop entertainment program where Adithya was able to present live mimicry, double acts, magic shows, dance and comedy skits. The show was telecast on 27 and 28 December from 6 pm onwards.

The audience also witnessed another anchor from the TV show, ‘Daddy Enakku Oru Doubt’, who also anchored for the ‘Comedy Express’ show along with anchor Aadhavan. This was carried out under the flagship show of Adithya’s ‘Konjam Nadinga Boss’.
