Sarranyaa Saiprashanth is a famous classical dancer cum teacher from Chennai. Sarranyaa’s Nrithya Vidyalaya is her dance school, which trains children in Bharatanatyam. Sarranyaa Saiprashanth got her classical dance training from Kalaimamani Ranganayaki Jayaraman. A lot of her students have done with Arangetram, and Sarranyaa Sai Prashanth will be on the stage with Nattuvangam. During the Arangetram by her students, Sarranya leads a team with Chitrambari Krishnakumar, the vocalist; Nellai T Kannan, who plays the Mridhangam; S Vijayaraghavan plays the violin, and AN Bhagyalakshmi plays the flute. Besides being a classical dancer, Sarranyaa also hosted a few shows on TV channels. Sarranya hosted some episodes of Then Kinnam, an old song collection on Jaya TV. She also hosted Jothida Darbar, an astrology show on Vijay TV.
