Sheeba S Nair

Sheeba S Nair is an RJ at Radio Asia 1269AM from Poojappura in Thiruvananthapuram district. Sheeba has worked on films such as Meghamalhar and Red Wine as a dubbing artist. Sheeba, who began dubbing at 13, has also dubbed for television shows like Oru Penninte Katha, Peithozhiyathe, and Venalmazha. Sheeba is a gifted dancer who has competed in school and college youth festival dance competitions. She has performed several stage productions and specializes in Odissi and other classical dance genres. She has also served as a compere for several theatre shows. Sheeba has also demonstrated her ability to write creatively. She has authored scripts for Radio Asia's radio dramas as well as record lyrics. Manjurukum Pularkalam, Vanity Corner, Ishal Meharjan, and Autographs are some of Sheeba's Radio Asia shows. Sheeba won the Film Critics Award for Best Dubbing Artist in 2002 and the Asiavision Award for Best Female Voice in 2015. Sheeba finished her education at Thirumala's AMHS High School, Sanskrit College in Thiruvananthapuram, and Annamalai University were where she received her higher education. Sheeba is the daughter of businessman Gopalakrishnan Nair and Shakunthala. Sheeba enjoys music, dance, writing, reading, and traveling in her spare time.
