Kattassery Joseph Yesudas shortly called as K J Yesudas is an exceptional Carnatic singer and playback singer in Indian Cinema. Born on Jan 10 in 1940, he is fondly called as Gana Gandharvan and Dasettan. He has set a record of recording more than 60,000 songs. He is born in a Roman Catholic family, in Kochi. His father was a great classical Malayalam musician. His first song was Jaathi Bhedam Matha Dwesham (music: M B Sreenivasan) recorded on 14 November 1961. This song is so close to Yesudas, that he signs it even today very often in any of the concerts. His journey started with this song. He got his first hit through a movie Bharya under the music direction of G. Devarajan. He made huge hit songs in Tamil and Telugu film industries as well. His first song in Tamil was in a film Bommai, where the music was composed by the very famous Music composer S. Balachander. He had set exceptional records in music industry. He stands as a winner of 43 state awards in all over India, 7 national awards for best singer which are completely unbreakable records.

In addition to all Indian languages, he also sang for languages like Sanskrit,Latin Malaysian, Arabic, Russian and English. People believe that he is blessed by god because of his soulful singing. During 1971, he missed his flight. Within few hours of taking off, the flight crashed in Madurai. He made his debut into Bollywood in 1970. He sang for a very famous movie, Jai Jawan Jai Kissan (1971). He sang for leading actors then like Amitabh Bachchan, Jeetendra and Amol Palekar. One of the musicians of Bollywood Ravindra Jain, who is blind by vision, told in an interview that anytime if he is to get his vision he would want to see Mr. Yesudas first. That was a great tribute paid in words. Mr. Yesudas made his presence felt worldwide as well. He received "Outstanding Achievements in Music and Peace" from UNESCO. He is very frequently called to attend the Carnatic music events around the globe, as an ambassador to represent Indian traditional Music.

Pradeep Palluruthy

Pradeep Palluruthy is a well known Malayalam singer. He hails from Palluruthy in Ernakulum district and therefore he got his screen name as Pradeep Palluruthy. He started his career from a popular mimic’s troupe and later he joined in the chorus team of famous music director Alex Paul. He sung for the movie Mimics action 500 as a chorus member. His first song as a playback singer was in the movie Punyamayiisahakkinu song from the movie Thommanum Makkalum directed by Shafi under the music direction of Alex Paul.   He is a familiar face in ACV’s music program 'The Masters' in which he sung many songs of veteran music directors and singers. He became famous through that program. Later, he was invited for many stage shows but a biggest breakthrough in his career was the song he sung for the movie Kadaparayumbol directed by M Mohanan. The song Vethyasthanam Oru Barbaram Balane was super hit .The song was directed by the famous music director M Jayachandran and he sung very well as directed by Jayachandran and that matches with the film script. The song really blended with his sound and he was wanted by all music directors.   After the success of Kadaparayumbol song he got lot of opportunities in movies like ‘Annan Thampi', 'Veruthe Oru Bharya', 'Bodyguard', 'Chembada' and 'Naxalite'. His another hit was from the movie Rajamanikyam, in which he sung for the actor Mammootty .The song was Paandimelam and that also give him another super hit in his list.   Pradeep is a mechanical engineering diploma holder and he studied carnatic music for almost 5 years under Palluruthy Ramankutty Bhagavathar. During his school college days he sung for Kochi based music band Kochi Voice. Now Pradeep has a handful of songs and is busy with singing. Singing is first and only priority in Pradeep life and he is married to Bindu, who works in medical field.

Chithra is a worldwide known Indian soulful singer. Her original name is Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra. Born in July 1963, Chithra has grown into a versatile singer who can sing all variants.
