Rehna

Rehna KS is a well-known playback singer born in Nilambur, a small village in the Mallapuram District of Kerala, on February 12, 1973. She is famous for her beautiful renditions of Mappila, traditional Muslim folk songs popular in Kerala's Malabar region. Rehna has made several contributions to the music industry and is well-known for her soulful voice, called the "queen of Ishals." Rehna KS's private life revolves around her devoted family. She is married to Navas Ahammed and has a son named Sonu Navas. Shoukathali and Jameela, Rehna's parents, have been a constant source of support and encouragement throughout her musical journey. Rehna's love of Music began at a young age, and she dedicated herself to improving her singing abilities.

Her father connected closely with M.S Baburaj, a music composer, which opened up her journey to Music. She completed her musical education at the prestigious Government Chittur College in Palakkad, Kerala, earning a Master's in Karnatic Music. Rehna has captured audiences' attention with her unique singing abilities throughout her career. She has sung over 2000 compositions in various languages, lending her voice to numerous Hindi and Tamil songs. She was always appreciated for her ability to convey emotions through her singing.

Rehna was honored in 2014 when she received the Ishal Arabia Kairali TV Award for Best Singer. Rehna has also served as a judge on popular reality shows in addition to her playback singing career. She was a judge on the well-known Patturumal reality show, showcasing aspiring Mappila singers' talents. She was also a jury on the Pathinnalam Ravu reality show on Kairali TV.
