Vivek Ranjit is a Malayalam screenwriter for TV and film in Malayalam entertainment industry. However, he handles subtitles in Malayalam movies and is even a renowned television presenter. Many stoner films are thin in plots and have a loose structure. The film script should back enough characters to make the film more convincing, but the film had only a few characters which were a drawback. The film was a hit with the youth. Here in the movie 'Kili Poyi,' the script was very loose and the plot too was thin, but extremely convincing. In any case, there are not many working directors to chose stoner films. After completing his schooling, he did his graduation in Visual Compunction (VISCOM) from Loyola College at Chennai in 2000. Later, he even completed a year course in screenwriting from Pune Film and Televisions Institute, Pune. In the year 2012, he assisted director VK Prakash for the film 'Trivandrum Lodge' which was his first assignment after he completed the course in FTII. It was after this movie; he worked as a story, screenplay, dialogues for the film Kili Poyi (2013). He had handled subtitling assignments for many movies, and his first project was 'Beautiful ' which was directed by V.K. Prakash. In 2017, he did subtitling work for about 17 films which itself is a record for any subtitler in movies.
