He worked on this project for  4 months from December 2004 – March 2005.

Currently, he is the CEO of a production company named CinePlay. He has worked in the position since June 2015. Earlier, in the year 2013, he was the co-founder and director of Chhoti Production Company - along with renewed director, actor Nandita Das.

He was the chief assistant director for the film “Urumi” starring Prithviraj, GeneliaD'souza, Prabhudeva and VidyaBalan. In between the year 2011-2012, Ritesh Menon was also the writer and director for the in-development Hindi feature film titled ‘Hero Veero’ for Cinema Paradiso a company owned by Mubina Rattonsey and Sameer Rattonsey.

Ritesh Menon was the cinematography assistant to Santosh Sivan for the feature film titled “Pehla Sitara” directed by Owais  Hussain and produced by renowned Artist M. F Hussain. He was associated with the project since 2009.

He was also the cinematography assistant to Santosh Sivan for the feature film tentatively titled “PehlaSitara” directed by Owais  Hussain and Produced by the renowned Artist M. F Hussain. (2009). in the year 2005, he was the assistant director for pre-production on ‘My name is Anthony Gonsalves”. This film was directed by national award winner E. Niwas.

Ritesh Menon was also co-writer and chief assistant director for the short movie’ “Prarambha” starring Prabhu Deva, B Saroja Devi. This film was a joint initiative of Mira Nair's Mirabai Films, and this short movie was directed by Santosh Sivan.

Ritesh was part of the crew since 2007.  In the year 2007-08. He was associated even as writer and chief assistant director for a feature film “Tahaan- A boy with a grenade” starring  PuravBhandare , Rahul Bose Rahul Bose, who is an actor, director, writer and >> Read More... , AnupamKher and Sarika which was directed by Santosh Sivan and produced by I-Dream productions.

This director was also involved in the making of the movie ‘Tharavad- Ancestral Home” which was based on APM film funding program at the Busan International film festival. Ritesh Menon was the director and writer of this movie.

Ritesh Menon was even the assistant director to Santosh Sivan for his Hollywood project “Before the Rains” which was a 2007 Indian-British period drama film. The film starred Linus Roache, Jennifer Ehle, Nandita Das and Rahul Bose and was shot in Kerala.

He also shot a commercial with Imran Khan & Parineeti Chopra for ad agency named ‘Leo Burnett’ which was crafted by Raw Films Production House.
