Prathiba Hari Malayalam Actress

Prathiba Hari is an Indian politician and the present MLA of Kayamkulam, Kerala, who was born on 10th May 1977. She was Panchayat President for Alappuzha District and once the President of Thakazhy Grama Panchayat.

She was born and brought up in Thakazhy Village of Alappuzha Region. Pratibha Hari who is a politician and welfare worker from Alappuzha worked in a short film titled "Newspaper Boy." Though she did not have any experience in acting, she accepted the offer due to her cousin's compulsion. Pratibha played the role of panchayat president in this short film. As she had played this role in her real life before, she didn't make much effort to work with this character.

After this short film, she decided not to act furthermore. But fate has other plans for Prathiba. When the offer to play the character of Katha came to Prathiba, she again nodded yes for acting. The reason behind this is she knew Kathamma (Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai's wife) very well. She stated tha'her bond with Kathamma strengthened when she became the President of Thakazhi panchayat. She even stated that in the month of April, every year she handled memorial meeting of Thakazhi in his house. She even realised that public like film stars more than social workers. Prathiba has been working as a social worker from her teenage. She works for Communist Party of India (Marxist).
