Pandalam Sudhakaran was born on the 20th November 1955 in Pandalam, India. He is an Indian politician who belongs to the party of the Indian National Congress. In 1982, he was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Wandoor Constituency as a Congress party candidate. He again got elected in the years 1982, 1987, and 1991 from the same constituency. He joined Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), Calicut University Senate, Gandhiji University Syndicate, Trivandrum Doordarshan Kendra Advisory Board.
Being the representative of Kerala state, he became the director of Kerala State Film Development Corporation and the jury member of the film award committee of Kerala State. He became the Vice Chairman of the Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA) and director of JaiHind TV.
