Pandikkadavath Kunhalikutty is a social worker and an Indian politician born 1 June 1951, at Oorakam in Malabar district, Madras State. He was a former Member of Parliament from Malappuram Parliament Constituency of Kerala. His father’s name was Pandikkadavath Mohamed Haji, and his mother was K. P. Fathima Kutty. He completed his schooling at GVHSS Vengara. Later, he studied at Sir Syed College, Thaliparamba, and has an undergraduate degree in Commerce. He did his Post- Graduate Diploma in Business Management at Farook College, Kozhikode. He worked as the College Union Secretary at Farook College.
At the age of 29 in 1980, he became a Chairman of Malappuram Municipality. In 1982 for the first time, Kunhalikutty was elected to the Kerala State Legislative Assembly. His supporters address him with respect as "Kunjappa." He was described as "Indian Union Muslim League's backbone in Kerala politics” by The Outlook magazine. Kunhalikutty got married to K.M. Ummul Kulza. The couple has two children named P.K. Hashique and Lasitha P.K. He was also a member of the Standing Committee on Railways, Government of India. Since 2007, he is acting as the National General Secretary of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML).
