Kodiyeri Balakrishnan

K. BALAKRISHNAN is an Indian politician. At present, K. Balakrishnan is the State President of Tamil Nadu Vivasayigal Sangam, which is affiliated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist). At present, K. Balakrishnan being the President of Tamil Nadu Farmers Association works for the betterment of the farmers.

K. Balakrishnan was the winner in the Fourteenth Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and held office from the Chidambaram constituency as a Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for the duration of 5 years from the year 2011 to the Year 2016.

K. Balakrishnan, as a politician, represented the Communist Party of India (Marxist). In the Fifteenth Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, that is, in the election of 2016, the result was that K. A. Pandian was the winner from the K. Balakrishnan's constituency.

It is important to note that the place called Chidambaram is the Legislative Assembly in the district of Cuddalore and this includes the Chidambaram city as its part. Chidambaram city is a part of the Chidambaram (Lok Sabha constituency).

K. Balakrishnan was born on 5 February 1953 in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, in India.  K. Balakrishnan completed his higher studies from the Annamalai University. Since the time of his college days, K. Balakrishnan was always involved in politics and he continuously fought against all injustice and he also worked for the welfare of the people.

His early age was spent in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, in India.  He was always interested in politics and therefore he opted to become a politician.  Besides, he works for the welfare of the people.

K. Balakrishnan was introduced in the field of politics as the politician who represented and continues to represent the Communist Party of India (Marxist). The Communist Party of India (Marxist) is a legal communist party in India.

As per history, the party called the Communist Party of India (Marxist) emerged from a split from the Communist Party of India in the year, 1964. K. Balakrishnan is always remembered for his contributions in the Indian Politics as an Indian Politician and Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

It is important to note that on 2 September 2015, K. Balakrishnan refused to call off a protest which was a part of a strike at a train station in Tamil Nadu and therefore he was arrested. He was after some time fell sick and thus was feeling uneasiness.

He was then taken to the Rajah Muthiah Medical College and Hospital at Chidambaram for his treatment. It is here important to mention that he is always involved in politics, whether the health condition is in his favor or not, and he continuously keeps on fighting against injustice and tries to help others for their betterment.
