Indian composer Sunny Viswanath is a music producer and composer. A notable aspect of his work is the blending of traditional orchestral arrangements with electronic music sounds, world music genres, and Eastern classical music. Performing with amateur bands since the age of 7, he began learning music at the age of 4. He was working as a professional musician by the age of 14. Sunny has mastery of seven instruments, of which Tabla remains his favorite. As a soloist and musician, he has played nationwide. He went to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kozhikode. Priya Viswanath is his wife, and they live in Ayyanthole, Thrissur.
Sunny composed songs for six films, including Kshatriya, Sthithi, Israa. He introduced the Swedish star Anneli Rydahl and the Australian singer Seraya in Sambar Sambar, Cochin Shadhi, and Vanmurai. Besides Janmangalai, he composed music for Malayali Penne, Chinmaya Geethangal, and Beliyali Penne. His composition for Serena Kern's Lullaby and Better to have loved were produced in collaboration with the British singer. The international singers that Sunny has worked include Zenya Bashford from the United States, Samantha Coe from the United Kingdom, Felicitas Geiger from Germany, Jemimah G from Australia, Keren Port from Israel, Iselin B from Norway, Heidi Jarvis from the United States, Violet Won from China, Khalida Saud from Pakistan. . Besides working for Magnasound for six years as a producer and A&R, Sunny also worked for Bayshore Records for two years as a consultant A&R. He has been an integral part of the A&R team for more than 50 albums during his tenure. For five years, he worked as a columnist for the film magazine Chithrabhumi and was also the editor at Southern Side Magazine. His experience as an event manager and artist coordinator has taken him to the US, UK, UAE, Germany, Malaysia, and Australia.
