Shibu Chakravarthy

Shibu Chakravarthy was born on 17 Feb 1961 in Kerala, India.He is a lyricist, screenplay writer, and scriptwriter of Malayalam movies.He has done script writing for numerous films which include Nair Saab Click to look into! >> Read More... , Many Uncle, and Adharvam. He also wrote about 200 songs in Malayalam industry..Allimalarkkaavu was the film, he wrote his first song for in 1984 and continued his work in the industry. He has done about 80 films there.He is the son of Late K.G Das and Leela, a teacher.Eroor Vesudev, his uncle, was his inspiration for writing poems which he started at a very young age.

He studied at St. George school Edappally.He continued working for Malayalam Basic Albums at the age of 18. He wrote songs for them.Rajan Prakash launched him in the movie of Prakash Movie Tone.When he was doing his Master's degree, he did his first film Allimalarkkavu in 1984 at the age of 23.While working in Malayalam industry, he also continued his diploma in journalism. He became famous lyricist with the song of 'Chembarathy Poovu' from his first hit film Shyma.He wrote around 250 songs for about 80 movies and about 200 songs for festival/religious albums.

Shibu Chakravarthy devoted his talent of writing as a lyricist to many Malayalam movies.Some of his eternal songs include Chembarathi Poove Chollu, Ormakal Oodikalikkuvan Ethunnu, Eeeran Megham Poovum Konde etc.He also did work with many famous music directors such as M.K. He also made documentaries of all the view of UAE's traditions and cultures.He also started non- profit organization so that everyone fingers their creative talent and he made this Co-operative society in which animation artists create their ideas in a creative way and execute with the different plan. Shibu Chakravarthy tied the knot with Shiji who worked in an NPOL school as a principal. They have one daughter Malavika and one son Shantanu.He is such a great personality with a beautiful heart.His interest includes philosophy and psychology.
