Born on 20 September 1990, Dawn Vincent is an established music composer in the Malayalam film industry. Kochi, Kerela is Dawn Vincent’s birthplace. He was born to Vincent John and Sheena Nancy who were both civil engineers. Since childhood, Dawn had a keen interest in music. Because of this interest, he learned a number of instruments from a young age. He is also a certified pianist from the Trinity College, London. During his school days, he was a keyboard player and bass guitarist and then became a part of a rock band. This rock band covered the songs of many international artists.
In 2012, Dawn completed his Bachelors of Technology undergrad degree in Electronics and Media. After the undergrad, he decided that he wanted to pursue music as a serious career and not some part-time passion. Thus, he joined the esteemed Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, in the year 2013. Here, Dawn continues his studies in music and completed post graduation in Sound Recording and Sound Design. As a student at the Film and Television Institute of India, Dawn received a lot of opportunities to show his talent, and he was also selected for an On-Location sound recording project in Germany’s Internationale Filmschule Köln.
Dawn started his music career in the Malayalam film industry in the year 2016. His first project was the movie Thithi that released on 06th May 2016. He continued to work on short films in the beginning to grow his experience. His actual debut is considered to be Mundrothuruth:
, for which he worked as a Background Score composer. From then on, Dawn has had a rich history of works. Up until recent projects he undertook are Iblis and Eeda, both released in 2018. For Eeda, Dawn worked as a Background Score composer, and for Iblis, he worked as a musician.
