Chellapan is an Indian screenwriter and director. He predominantly worked in the Malayalam Film Industry. He was born in Kollam, Kerala, India. The director passed away on 29 June 2015, in Bharanikkavu, Sasthamcotta, Kerala, India He is also known by the name of Thevalakkara Chellappan Prashanth. He was known for his low budget films. He made his debut in the Malayam Industry with the film, Aalorungi Arangorungi, which was starring Mammootty, Shobhana, Menaka Sureshkumar.
He completed his studies from the Pandhalam Poly Technique. Chellapan tied a knot to Geetha, and they have two children, named Prathiba and Ananda. Some of the other films that Thevalakkara Chellappan was a part of include, Athinumappuram (1987), Adholokam (1988), Arjun Dennis (1988), Miss Pameela (1989), and some more.
