Dhyan Sreenivasan is the younger son of Malayalam actor, director, and screenwriter Sreenivasan.
Vineeth Sreenivasan being the elder son of Sreenivasan is Dhyan's elder brother. Dhyan was born on 20th December 1988 in Thalassery, Kerala, India. Dhyan dropped his engineering and joined Visual Communication to fulfill his wish of working in the film industry. He entered this glamorous world in 2013. His debut movie was "Thira", directed by brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. He was selected for the film when Vineeth saw his short film which he had directed himself.
Vineeth was impressed by his acting and asked if he would like to act in his next movie and Dhyan agreed. The movie is announced as a trilogy's first sequel. Dhyan did the movie with Shobana as the co-actor. The movie was considered as average at the box office and was given three stars out of five. His next release in 2015 was " Kunjiramayanam", a Malayalam comedy flick. The movie was directed by
Basil Joseph. Dhyan shared the screen with his brother Vineeth Sreenivasan along with
Aju Varghese as the lead actors. It was a multi starrer flick.
"Adi Kapyare Koottamani" was his next movie released in the same year. The movie was directed by
John Varghese. Dhyan worked as a co-actor with Mukesh,
Namitha Pramod, Aju Varghese,
Neeraj Madhav and Bijukuttan. The movie was based on students' life, mainly boys in college and their hostel life. Dyan earned the best debut actor award in 'Asianet Film Awards'. He has also worked as an associate director for M. Mohanan for "916", a Malayalam flick. Dhyan will be soon seen working as a director too. He confirmed in an interview with the producer and 'may be' cast of his own directed movie. He is fluent in Tamil too.
