Navya Swamy is an Indian cinema artist who is featuring in the South Indian television shows. Navya was born on 17th March. Navya’s birthplace is Mysore which is one of the prominent cities of Karnataka. If we talk about Navya’s educational qualifications, the actress is an alumnus of MMK and SDM Women College, Mysore. In the year 2007, Navya completed her course at this institution. Navya also did her schooling at Rotary West School in Mysore itself. In 2011, Navya got her first chance in Thangali, a Kannada language serial.

In the show Thangali, the makers attempted to highlight the issue of gender discrimination in our society. However, she rose to fame when people recognized her work in Lakumi. Lakumi focuses on the differences between the lifestyles in urban and rural areas respectively. Lakumi also aimed to make the viewers ponder about their role in eradicating evils like child marriage, gender inequality, and taboos. Although Navya became a famous TV celebrity in Karnataka, she has made few appearances in the state-based ventures.

In an interview, Navya admitted that she continued to receive offers for Kannada shows, but she rejected them. Navya has stated that Kannada producers looked for debutants so that they could get work done with lesser wages. Navya confessed that it was a risk to leave Karnataka and try her luck in neighboring states like Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu. Fortunately for the actress, Navya got various opportunities to portray the lead roles in the serials.
