Ravi Teja is the popular Telugu hero, whose birth name is Ravi Shankar Raju Bhupatiraju. He started his career as an actor from the year 1990 in a supportive role. His debut movie is Karthavyam, in which Vijay Shanthi was the lead. He has also worked as an assistant director for few Bollywood and Tollywood movies. His first main role was in the film Sindhooram in the year 1997. Nee Kosam was the movie, which revealed out his acting talent and got him the Nandi Award for his excellent performance. Itlu Sravani Subramanyam, Avunu Valliddaru Ista Paddaru, Idiot, Khadgam and Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi were his hit movies in the beginning.
Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi is the film remade in Tamil as M.Kumaran, S\O Mahalakshmi. Both the Tamil and Telugu films were by Asin as the female lead. Naa Autograph, Chanti, Dubai Cheenu, Nenithe, Kick and Anjaneyulu were his hit films till 2010. He has also appeared as a guest in many films, including Shankar Dada Zindabad. In Doosukeltha, he rendered his voice alone for the narration of the story. At present, he is acting in Kick 2 and Bengal Tiger. He is also acting in a Kannada film Vajrakaya as a guest appearance.
