Sirija

Sirija aka Siri is a famous multilingual TV actress born and brought up in Bangalore, Karnataka. When she was doing her 9^th grade, she was offered to play the lead role in Ambika, a Kannada TV Series. As she had to attend her classes, she couldn't give enough dates and preferred to play a supporting role. After playing in Ambika, she offered a Telugu film, Ninnu Choodalani, in 2001. Ramoji Rao produced the film directed by VR Prathap. Siri shared the screen space with "N T Rama Rao Jr" and Raveena Rajput. In an interview, Siri stated that she was supposed to do the lead role, and miscommunication made her do the sister role in Ninnu Choodalani.

In 2002, she turned popular in the Kannada serial, "Rangoli," which is the remake version of the Tamil hit serial, "Kolangal" featuring "Devayani." Rangoli was telecasted on Udaya TV. She was doing PUC while playing in Rangoli. In the same year, she played in the Kannada film Dil with Tiger Prabhakar, Pramila Joshi, "Sundarraj" and Darshan Thoogudeepa, directed by Sathya. She was also cast in Simhadriya Simha, a popular Kannada film with "Vishnuvardhan," Bhanu Priya, and Meena Durairaj. It is the remake of the Tamil hit film Nattamai by "K S Ravikumar," featuring Sarathkumar and Khushbu Sundar. "S Narayan" directed the film, and Siri played a minor role. She was also seen in Chandu, a Kannada film with "Sudeep" and Sonia Agarwal in the leading roles. Arun Prasad PA directed the film and Siri played Sonia's cousin in this movie.

In 2003, she played a small role in Neenandre Ishta, directed by Mallesh.
