Pallavi Arun, from Karnataka, India, is a singer. She is a multi-faceted personality who is involved in playback singing, acting as well as anchoring. M D Pallavi Arun is a famous singer from Karnataka. She had a beginning almost like a usual child. Learning Bharatanatyam, participating in cultural programs was her routine and regular activity that is any child's dream. She never aspired to become a singer. She initially had the training in Hindustani Classical music from Pandit Ram Rao Naik of Kirana Gharana. But yet she considers her mother as an initial guru who taught her to practice music when she was singing. That is how her vocal cords became perfect before she could start beginning the ragas to help her to form a sound base of Hindustani Classical music from Pandit Rajbhau Sontakke, the disciple of the great Pandit Omkarnath Thakur of Gwalior Gharana.
