Sadguna Murthy P is an Indian musician and a producer who is well known in the Kannada industry. Born on 23rd April 1950, in Bangalore, Karnataka, Sadguna is also known as SP Raj. Coming from an Indian classical music background, Sadguna has been associated with music from his childhood. He learned music from his grandfather as well as his parents. He took classes from Guru Pandith Sheshadri Gawa in Indian classical and Carnatic music. He then went to learn Western music from the renowned Sri S.K. Joseph.
Earlier, Sadguna used to play the keyboard at concerts. He began his career in the Kannada industry as a background music composer, and later on, he went on to compose numerous songs for films. After achieving a lot in the music world, Sadguna turned into a producer. He made his debut with Dumki Dumaar in 2017, under his production company called Shree Bhoomika Production.
