Singer Pallavi Turns The Director!

It is common for the film industry people, who are in various fields of cinema to become the directors. We have seen the actors turning directors. We know that actors Ramesh Arvind, Rishab Shetty, Director Prem and Rakshit Shetty are doing good in the direction field. Now, the famous singer cum actress Pallavi Arun becomes a director. She is not directing a film but a stage play. The play titled Santiago Savina Sutta will be performed today evening at Gurunanak Bhavan. The play is inspired by the English novel named Chronicle of Death Foretold. The novel is written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a Nobel prize winner. The stage play is produced by Abhinaya Taranga, which was founded by AS Murthy, the theater artist. Pallavi is the granddaughter of Murthy, who made her grandpa’s dream come true.
