Kim Soo-hyun is a Korean actor who was born on February 16, 1988, in Seoul, South Korea. Kim’s father’s name was Kim Chung-hoon who was the lead singer of the 80's band Seven Dolphins. He was a very shy and introverted boy in his childhood to overcome which his mother joined him into an acting class. After which he got interested in acting. Kim played the role of Puck in the stage show A Midsummer Night's Dream. Then he started acting in theatres. Since 2012, he and his team have donated a total of 20 tons of rice every year to help the needy. Kim has been regarded as the King of product endorsements.
In March 2015, was awarded for being a model taxpayer by the local tax office for faithfully paying taxes every Tax Day. In the year 2007, he made his debut in the TV show Kimchi Cheese Smile. In 2011 he appeared in Dream High, a musical drama.
