Brett Detar was born on 30 April in 1978. His birthplace is Greensburg in Pennsylvania in the United States. He has been active since 1997. Brett Detar is popularly known for his musical work. He has command in musical shape- shifting, distinctive vocals, and evocative sense of melody. He started his musical learning and performing journey at an early age. He became a full time professional singer and performer in his late teenage years. He joined the seminal hard-core metal band named Zao. He was guitarist, bassist, and songwriter in the Zao band. Simultaneously, He became the founder of his band named, Indie-Alt-Emo-Rock pioneers, The Juliana Theory. He was guitarist, song writer and handled lead vocals, programming, and recording. He is the frontman of his band. He is an instrumentalist who has knowledge of several instruments such as vocals, guitar, piano, banjo, and bass guitar. There are many songs of his, which have also been featured in many American Television Programmes such as Supernatural, Nashville, Teen Mom, Elementary Jersey Shore, Friendzone, Snooki and Jwoww, and Party Down South. After disbanding of his own band named, The Juliana Theory. He made debut as a solo artist in the music industry named, 'Bird in the Tangle'. He has traveled as solo artist in several tours in United States. His second album was 'Too Free To Live' which had haunting and distinctive Americana sound of his previous track. He released five music albums on both Indie and Major Labels as an indie rock band. He works at several genres: Film score, Alternative rock, Metalcore, Country music, Folk music, and Americana.
