When Tupac was 12 years old, he appeared in A Raisin in the Sun as Travis Younger in Apollo Theater. He went to Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore, Maryland.
He got transferred to Baltimore School for the Arts. He learned different art forms like acting, jazz, poetry, and ballet. He also performed in Shakespeare plays. He used to perform rap songs with his partner Dana Smith who he used to introduce as his beatbox. They won many rap competitions and were very popular in school. Jada Pinkett was his very close friend until his death. Tupac and his family moved to Marin City in California in the year 1988. He went to Tamalpais High School which was near Mill Valley. He went to Leila Steinberg classes of poetry in 1989.
He performed Strictly Dope at an event of Steinberg and at the same time, he was signed by Atron Gregory. Arton got him in the hip hop group as a backup dancer and roadie of Digital Underground. Tupac was the producer of the song Same Song of the film, Nothing But Trouble in 1990 which gained him a lot of fame. Same Song was also featured in the Digital Underground album and Tupac was cast in its music video. Tupac’s song I Get Around was on the 11th rank of US Billboard Hot 100. Followed by its success, he released 2Pacalypse Now, his first solo album. It wasn’t very successful but had the feel of the best rappers including Eminem, Talib Kwell, etc. The album also gained critical comments politically. “Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z....” was his second album released in 1993. It had political and social views that Tupac had to share and was a slightly popular than the previous album.

They had just a single album which was called Thug Life: Volume 1. The album went on to become gold. His third album was Me Against the World which won a Soul Train Award for best Rap Album in 1996. In 1996, he released his 4th album; All Eyez on Me under Interscope Records and Death Row Records. It went on to become Tupac’s best album.

Two months later, “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory” was released which was his fifth and last album. Tupac is a recipient Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stone.
