Brandy Clark

Also going by the name Brandy Lynn Clark, this woman is a singer and songwriter of country music. Her songs have been recorded by many trending pop bands and artists of American music like – Miranda Lambert Known in the list of songwriters and singers, Mira >> Read More... , The Band Perry, Billy Currington, Darius Rucker, Reba McEntire, Kacey Musgraves and Sheryl Crow. She is an expert in acoustic guitar and piano, and her compositions have rocked the Billboard charts from the mid-2010s. Brandy mainly composes songs of the country folks, which aims at portraying the truth of human conditions. She blends in humor, wit and realism in her pieces which the artists takes it up to the audiences.

Taking some time off her script compilation, she came up with 12 Stories, her debut solo feat in 2013. A music enthusiast from her early days, Clark took up the guitar in her hands from a meager age of 9 years and started performing in her school musicals. Shortly giving up some time from music, she focused on her education and attended the Central Washington University on a basketball scholarship. Quitting basketball sometime after, she resumed her musical career and studied commercial music at the Belmont University, Nashville, USA in 1998. Graduating from college, she then had a job with Leadership Music by which she started publishing her compositions. Her musical career has been great so far with many of her tracks racking up the music playlists. Her songs have received constructive reviews from critics around the world. Having energetic citation from reviewers she has made a mark as one of the most gifted songwriters having a remarkable caliber.

With the backing from her fans and family, Clark has been able to place her songs in the annual as well as monthly US, UK Billboard albums. Her endless commitment to music earned her nomination for the Best New Artist at the 2015 Grammy Awards.

Being in the industry from 2005 onwards, she has won the Song of the Year for ‘Follow Your Arrow’ at the 2014 CMA Awards and the International Song of the Year for ‘Stripes’ at the 2015 British Country Music Association Awards. The nomination list has a scroll of her songs includes those from the prestigious Grammy Awards too. Two of her songs – ‘Love Can Go to Hell’ for Best Country Solo Performance and ‘Big Day in a Small Town’ for Best Country Music have bagged nomination for the 2017 Grammy Awards.
