Gary Hamilton

Gary Hamilton is a highly respected film producer with over 30 years of experience in the arts and entertainment industry. He has been instrumental in launching the careers of some of the world's biggest movie stars, including Baz Luhrmann, Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Heath Ledger, and Hugh Jackman. Gary has received recognition for his work, with Screen International naming him one of the most influential people in the Australian film industry's private sector, and Encore magazine including him among Australia's top producers. Over the past few years, Gary has produced and licensed several critically acclaimed top 10 films, including Hotel Mumbai, Possessor, and First Reformed, which was nominated for an Academy Award.

In 2002, he established the renowned independent film funding and distribution business Arclight Films, which specializes in medium- to high-budget theatrical productions. Hamilton-produced movies are among the more than 400 entries in the company's library. Gary is living in Los Angeles with his wife Ying Ye, who is also a producer and their family. Arclight Films has offices in Los Angeles, Beijing, Sydney, and Toronto and has a current sales slate that includes Seriously Red, A Very Senior High, Twist, and The Furnace, which premiered at the 2019 Venice Film Festival.
