Carey Mulligan

Carey Mulligan is a young English actress. She is known in the industry for her roles in movies, television, and theater. She was born in London. She has one elder brother Owain. She completed her schooling at Woldingham School in Surrey and Challoners Girls School in Amersham. Carey is married to Marcus Mumford and the couple was recently blessed with a baby girl. She is also the ambassador for the Alzheimer’s society. Carey was always keen on doing theater since her school days.

She was the head of college’s drama society. She was an active member of the acting club too. It was evident that to be an actress was her only aspiration. The budding artist first got a chance to act at the age of 19 in a stage show called Forty Winks in a theater at London. She chose acting career against her parents will. In 2007 she played Rachel in the movie And When Did you Last see your Father? Her movie The Greatest in 2009 was screened at Sundance film Festival.
