Charisma Carpenter is an American actress and producer, born on July 23, 1970, in Nevada, US. She is well known for her roles in the cult teen shows 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel,' where she played 'Cordelia Chase.' Carpenter is a skilled ballerina and professional cheerleader and is believed to have become an actor by accident. She evolved from a business model to the protagonist of one of the most popular novels of the 1990s and was discovered by a business agent while waiting for a table in Los Angeles. After many years of serving as ’Cordelia,’ Carpenter briefly appeared in youth shows such as ’Mismatch,’ ’Charmed,’ and ’Veronica Mars.’

Carpenter is the proud founder of MyCon, a company that connected socially isolated fans with their favorite actors throughout the epidemic to bring some cheer to their otherwise monotonous routines. She also collaborates with the Thirst Project, an international water charity dedicated to giving safe, clean drinking water to the world's most disadvantaged people, as well as The Ronan Thompson Foundation, which is dedicated to pediatric cancer research.
