Holland Roden Marie is an American actress. She was born on October 7, 1986, in Texas to a couple who were both doctors. Since she came from a medical background, her family encouraged her to attend medical school and even Holland had a little desire to pursue a career in medicine. But more than that, she had always wanted to become an artist in Hollywood. So she started attending theater camps and acting classes at a regular basis from a very young age. Her role model was the Queen of England, so she would always prefer feminist roles that motivated her more to be like her icon.
Later she moved to Los Angeles to study Biology which she studied for around four years at UCLA. After some time she started doing a course in Women's Studies which she found very interesting, and she graduated with a degree in the subject from UCLA. Then Holland hired an agent who helped her to find some movies to act in. ‘12 Miles of Bad Road’ was the first television series that Roden got offered, but unfortunately, the show got shelved even before it got released, in the year 2007.
