Annabelle Attanasio

Anabelle Attanasio is an actor known for her works in the CBS Television series The Bull. She was born on May 11, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Hollywood’s famous artists Paul Attanasio, a screenwriter and Katie Jacob, a producer and director of flicks and television shows. They have a production company named Heel and Toe Films. All this exposure since her childhood made her choose a career analogous to her parents. After that she performed in around fifty other plays.

She joined Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute at the age of 16, for her studies in theatre art and filmography. She performed in five productions under New York University as a writer and director. After graduating from NYU, Annabelle started working in the role of Dorothy Walcott for Steven Soderbergh’s ‘The Knick’. She continued without a pause till her role as Cable McCrory in The Bull (2016).

She began her profession in acting in 2004 with the CBS Television series Century City, in the minor role of an underage girl. In 2009, she starred in The House, produced by her parent’s production Agency. Later in 2012, she acted in the short movie Out of the Blue, in the part of Andrea. She has also cast in the film The Swing of Things and Disposable. In 2014, Attanasio featured in a comedy-drama, ‘Growing Up and Other Lies’, about four friends who walk the whole of Manhattan to recreate the remarkable adventure of their lives. She also wrote, directed, and featured in the short films, Anchovies (2014) and Drooler (2015). Her other works include Mickey and The Bear (2019) and The Players Table.

After starring for two seasons in The Bull, she left the show over conflicts within her role for the third season. She then decided to use the opportunity to direct her first feature film Mickey and the Bear (2019). Annabelle’s debut feature film, which has been inspired by her own life, depicts the story of a teenage girl assigned the responsibility of her family. She has been taking care of her single, veteran, opioid-addicted father in the small town of Anaconda, Montana. The film premiered at SXSW to critical acclaim and made its international premiere at Cannes Acid, and other notable festivals, including Deauville, Marrakech, and Cameraimage. The film was acquired and distributed by Utopia. She is working on her second feature film, which she will write, direct, and produce, along with her forthcoming television series The Players Table.
