2. Wendell Pierce is a renowned American actor, known for his noteworthy role as attorney Robert Zane in the famous American TV series Suits. He was also seen a notable role in the HBO hit drama series The Wire as Detective Bunk Moreland. He made his presence felt in other famous projects like Treme where he played the trombonist Antoine Batiste and in Waiting to Exhale as Michael Davenport. He also had a featuring part in The Odd Couple, a hit CBS sitcom, where he acted as Teddy. The actor was born on December 8, 1963, in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the United States. His father was a decorated World War 2 veteran, and a Maintenance Engineer and his mother was a teacher.

The 55-year-old graduated from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts as well as Benjamin Franklin High School in the year 1981.
