Steven Bartle is a British actor best known to Indian audiences for playing a special branch officer in the Tamil movie 'Valla Desam' (2015). This film was directed by London-based filmmaker Nantha Thurai. Since the film was shot in London, the film cast required English native actors.

In 2011, he made his debut in a short film 'Lessons in Lifesaving.' Thus, he continued getting offers in short films and kept his position as an under-rated actor. It was in the year 2014, he became a writer and an actor for a movie 'Become the Legend' directed by Nick Cohen.
This film proved that he could shine even as a lead actor. ‘Recoil’ and ‘Heart of Chaos’ are two short films that the actor is busy nowadays. He has been the writer and producer for three short film projects and they are 'Recoil,' 'The Wild Card,' and 'Become the Legend.'
