Shemar Moore is a hunk actor and a fashion model. He was born as Shemar Franklin Moore on April 20, 1970 at Oakland, California in U.S. to Marilyn Wilson and Sherrod Moore. His father is an African-American while his mother came from a French-Canadian lineage. When he was just a baby, he moved to Denmark along with his mother. At four, he moved to Bahrain and studied in a British private school until he reaches the age of 7. Shemar cited civil unrest, integrated taboo relationships and racism in United States in year 1970, so he moved in U.S. with his mother. He bagged the role of Malcolm Winters for eight years in the soap opera, The Young and the Restless, where he earned many nominations and awards like the Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series at the Image Award from 1998 to 2000 and in 2001, 2002 and 2005. In 2004, made his comeback in the soap but the original plan was to leave the show. He left the show in September 2005.
