Sebastian Stan

Sebastian Stan is an actor of Romanian-American descent. He was born in Constanta, Romania on 13 August 1982. It was in his early school days where he developed an inclination towards acting by actively participating in a lot of plays and starred in small productions. He then took acting seriously and got enrolled and completed his Bachelor in Fine Arts degree for acting fromRutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts which gave him an opportunity to attend acting lessons at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, England.

He is popular for his role as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe releases Captain America: The first Avenger (2011) and Captain America: The Winter soldier (2014) and also for co-starring in The Martian, as NASA scientist Dr. Chris Beck.

He has been a part of the critically acclaimed thriller Black Swan and as Blaine, the antagonist in 2010 release Hot Tub Time Machine. He has also won many accolades for his work on television.In 2009, the actor scored a major role in a TV series, playing Jack Benjamin on the NBC series Kings. He won Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/Miniseries for his role of a troubled gay son of the former first lady in the miniseries Political Animals. He was also commended for his work in the American television series Once upon a time. Stan is a hard working actor and proved it by doing all his stunts on his own in the movie The Covenant (2006).

He is set to reprise his role of Bucky Barnes in the third Captain America film Captain America: Civil War planned for release in 2016.
