Robert Duvall is a veteran actor and filmmaker known for his spectacular work in Hollywood. The Academy Award-winning artist has been a part of numerous television shows and commercial movies throughout his career.

Robert Selden Duvall was born in California, and he was raised around a Naval Academy as a bit of an army brat with his father as a US Admiral and his mother, an amateur actress. Duvall’s six decades in the field of entertainment have been nothing if not eventful and mesmerizing. His work has nominated him for seven Golden Globes and Academy Awards. He won four of the Golden Globes and an Academy Award for his role in ‘Tender Mercies.’ Other exemplary awards to come his way are a Screen Actors Guild Award and an Emmy. In 1992, he established the production house, Butcher’s Run Films. He was honored with the National Medal of Arts in 2005. Duvall has come to be synonymous with the many intense and dramatic roles he has played across his career.
