Michael Cassidy

Michael Cassidy is an American TV and film actor. He is known for portraying Zach Stevens and Zach Stevens on The O.C. and Men at Work respectively. He was born on 20 March 1983 in Portland, Oregon, The United States of America. He did his schooling from La Salle High School Milwaukie, Oregon and graduated in 2001. In 2003, he passed from a Two-Year Conservatory program at The New Actors Workshop, New York City. He is best known for playing Zach Stevens on the television series The O.C. for the second season. He has a role in the film named Zoom. In 2006, he married Laura Eichhorn, his high school girlfriend.

The couple has a son, born in 2011. In 2006, he went to Los Angeles to audition for Superman Returns. He didn’t get the part but was able to impress Joseph McGinty Nichol, known as McG, who got him an audition for The O.C. He was an executive producer and director of the film. In 2007, he played the role of Cliff Wiatt in Hidden Palms, a television program. In the seventh season of the TV series Smallville, he portrayed Grant Gabriel, Daily Planet’s new editor and love interest of Lois Lane. Actually, he is the aged and cloned of Lex, Julian Luthor. His character was shot dead in the episode "Persona.” In 2016, he appeared as Jimmy Olsen in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. In Privileged, CW show, he played Megan Smith's best friend, Charlie Hogan, in fifteen episodes.

In Men at Work, the TBS show, he played Tyler Mitchell for three seasons. In 2012, he was seen in the films Argo and The Guilt Trip, portraying small roles. On 27 February 2015, he was part of workplace comedy named Not Safe for Work. But, the pilot was not released. He will play the character named Jonathan Walsh, charismatic CEO of Walsh Media on People of Earth alongside Wyatt Cenac. He loves to play Golf. He has films like The Girl from Monday, Night of the Living Deb and Dare (short film) to his credit in which he played Ted, Ryan Waverly, and Johnny respectively.

In 2010, he appeared in Castle in the episode “Anatomy of a Murder” playing Greg McClintock. In 20112, he portrayed Jonathan in the pilot episode of Are You There, Chelsea? In the same year, he did the role of Travis Harding in Scandal in the episode named "Hell Hath No Fury." He is currently filming The Stray I which he plays Mitch Davis.
