Melvin Poupaud is a French author, actor, and film-maker. His was named after the author Herman Melville by his Mother. He has a daughter, Anna-Livia with Georgina Tacou. She was born in 2001. He has a brother, Yarol Poupaud who is a rock band singer. He is well known for Laurence Anyways in 2012, Time to Leave in 2005 and Speed racer in 2008.
