Jean Reno

Jean Reno is a French actor. He has acted in several other languages (English, Japanese, Italian and Spanish) as well. Jean was born in Casablanca, Morocco to Spanish parents from Andalucía, who have moved to North Africa to seek work and prevent them from dictatorship. His father was a linotypist by profession. Reno has a younger sister (Maria Teresa) too. Reno’s first two marriages ended in divorce. He had two children with each of them. He is currently with Polish model Zofia Borucka, and the couple has two sons. Jean keeps homes in Los Angeles, Paris and Malaysia. Jean settled in France at the age of 17. He pursued skills in acting from the Cours Simon School of Drama. He imbibed the knowledge of Arabic and French during his stay in Morocco. In his early career, due to his large body structure, he was assigned to play “heavies”. Later on, he acted in many romantic and action films. He had worked with director Luc Besson.

Some of their joint works include “Lederwier Combat”, “Nikita” (1990), “The big blue” (1988) and “Leon: The Professional”, that have received worldwide critical acclamation and success. He had some remarkable and successful roles in films like the remake of “The Pink Panther” and “The Da Vinci Code” (a Ron Howard Film).
