James D’ Arcy is a famous English actor and is known for his role as Lee Ashworth, the murder suspect in the ITV series Broadchurch and Howard Stark’s attendant in the ABC Series Agent Carter. He was born as Simon Richard D’ Arcy on 24 August 1975 in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. James was brought up in Fulham, London. He completed his education at Christ’s Hospital and later moved to Australia. In Australia, he worked in the Drama department, and after that, he attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
James did a three-year course in acting and completed his B.A. James was appreciated for his role in the Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World as Lt. Tom Pullings in 2003 by many. He even appeared in several other films after that and tried to do versatile roles like the role of the father in horror movies. James acted in a radio drama for BBC; it was based on Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’ Urbervilles. The variety of the roles that he played in the films are Father Francis in Exorcist: The Beginning and in 2007 as Bishop in Rising Blood Hunter. James has even done many roles in movies based on Agatha Christie’s Novel.
