Jacob Davich

Jacob Daniel Davich was born on 28 August 1990, in Los Angeles, California, United States. He is an actor, songwriter and singer. He is known for his role in Mr. Woodcock (2004). He was also a part of movie named “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D (2005).” He made appearance in movies like “The Aviator” (2007 movie in which he plays a younger version of the role played by Leonardo DiCaprio He’s one of the most searched icons in the web for >> Read More... ) and “The Virginity” (2010). In 2011, he also did TV shows "Whitney" (Young guy #2) and "Shameless" (Character named Patty). He fell into acting when he was around 12. He used to play the guitar to keep his mind occupied while waiting for acting proposals. Eventually music became more appealing, and he started loving it better than acting. He loves music because it gives him full creative control which is not the same as acting where you are told to perform in a certain way. In 2015 he released self-named, five songs, EP (Extended Play). It contains “I Shall Be Released” (remake of the Bob Dylan song), “Don’t Run Don’t Hide” (a song about not letting the worst of us get the best of us), “How You Gonna Tell Me” (about his college girlfriend whom he couldn't express his feelings for and really cared about), “Hold On” and "Call my name”.

He gives credit of his turning to music to his father. His father made him take piano lessons when he was a little boy. Initially, he didn't like it much but gradually, in eighth grade when he took his father seriously and gave more attention to music, the music grew on him, and he started playing seriously. He was more interested in songs from the 60's and 70's. Only after playing and learning over a 100 and above songs he wrote a composition. He believes that the audience will connect to the energy which comes from the passion with which he sings his songs. Given a chance, he says, he would perform at the venue "The Troubador" as that is the venue where all his musical heroes once played, and it would be surreal for him to play there.
