Clayne Crawford

Clayne is an actor and director from America. Since the 1990’s, he started making television appearances. His debut movie was Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, where he has a small role as Joe Crawford. Since then he has used the name Clayne Crawford, and because of this he has received more exposure. He got roles on One Blood Planet, A Walk To Remember, ‘Swimfan’, The Great Raid, ‘Trespassing’, ‘Roswell’, ‘CSI:Maimi’, and A Love Song For Bobby Long.

In ‘Jericho’ season 1, he was seen in a periodic role. He played the character of Mitchell Cafferty, popularly called Mitch in this show. After this he appeared in the show ‘Leverage’ where he played the character of Quinn. He immediately began work in numerous theater groups and production. It was not long before his talents were recognized on the big screen with the lead roles.

Clayne Crawford’s alternate name is Joey Crawford. Crawford won the Screencraft Award for the best actor in 2006 for ‘F8’. He also won the Young Hollywood Award for One to Watch - Male in 2003. Apart from the glamour industry, in an interview when he was asked what he does when he is not on-set he replied that his wife and himself had started community gardens in the Eco Park area. He, along with his wife and three children moved out to live in this 50 acres of land where they did gardening and also herded cattle.

They were gardening as a secondary income and were growing and selling vegetables and eggs. This whole new lifestyle was a great thing for him as he could teach his family how important it is to take care of our planet since it provides us with every necessity. Post six months of just concentrating on his gardening he got the offer to act in Rectify and it all worked out perfectly for him since his shooting set was now only three hours away from his home. So it felt like a sign from the universe for him.
