Chris Lemmon

Christopher Boyd “Chris” Lemmon is an American actor and an author. He was born on June 22, 1954, in Los Angeles in California, U.S. He is a producer, actor, screenwriter and author. He is a talented man and has done numerous films and T.V. shows as in lead role, comic role and supporting role. Lemmon has done overall 23 films; 4 TV shows and has written one novel which is entitled “A Twist of Lemmon” which is a tribute to his father. Chris Lemmon is the son of famous actor Jack Lemmon and actress Cynthia Stone. He has done his schooling from the Verde Valley School in Sedona, Arizona and never liked acting much but he was interested in music, so his father encouraged him to learn piano which made him an accomplished piano player. He completed his graduation from California Institute of The Arts in classical piano and composition, and in theater. He got married to actress Gina Raymond in 1988 and has three children- one daughter and two sons. He is presently living with his family in Connecticut.

He has recently collaborated with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on a new boxed set of DVDs featuring five of his father’s earliest Films. His parents were separated when he was young but he stayed close to both of them. In 2006, he launched a novel- A Twist of Lemmon: A Tribute to My Father; published by Algonquin Books. It was re-launched in 2008 by Applause Theatre and Cinema Books. Chris Lemmon started his acting career in the year 1977 at the age of 21. His first movie was Airport (1977) in which he appeared with his father. He has done three films with his father: Airport (1977), That’s Life! (1986) and Dad! (1989).

He acted in the west-coast tour of Barefoot in the Park; he also portrayed Richard Phillips in two comedies TV shows- Duet(1987) and Open House(1989). He worked as Martin “Bru” Brubaker in the famous TV series Thunder in Paradise, which also starred the famous American wrestler Hulk Hogan.
