James D. Stern is a Film Director and Producer in America. He is also a Producer of Broadway and a member of the prestigious 'Guild of Amer'. James did his graduation in Directing from the University of Michigan. After graduating, he undertook his Masters in the Marketing and Finance from the Columbian Business School. James started his career as a director and a producer an IMAX show 'Michael Jordan to the Max' which was a hit.
He also produced and directed an HBO Show titled 'It’s the Rage'. He also invested himself in stage shows like 'The Producers', 'Hairspray', 'Stomp', etc. The Mel Brooks show 'The Producers' won 12 Tony Awards, and the 'Hairspray' won 8 Tony Awards. He also produced the International sensation of runway 'Stomp'.
Other shows that credit to his success are 'The Diary of Anne Frank', 'Legally Blonde', 'Twilight 1992', etc. He also produced the Oliver Award winner 'The Weir'. In 2002, James became the founder of an independent production company called 'Endgame Entertainment'. He established this company with the aim to provide resources for production, development and finance to films and different entertainment forms and properties.
With his guidance, the company has provided finance facility to more than 25 films. Under the banner of 'Endgame Entertainment', he released films like 'I’m Not There- a Bob Dylan’s Biopic', a Classic of Sony Pictures-'Easy Virtue', 'Summit’s, 'The Brother’s Bloom', etc. Earlier, Endgame Entertainment released 'Hotel Rwanda' and 'Lord of War' for the Lionsgate, 'White Noise' for Universal, 'Stay Alive' for Hollywood Pictures, 'Proof' for Miramax and 'Harold and Kumar go to White Castle' for New Line.

Stern utilised his MBA in Finance by founding and running a successful financial investment and hedge fund company called 'Stern Joint Venture'.
It has been in operation since 1989. Under his guidance and leadership, the company earns an annual return of about 19.75 %. The company has also grown from five hedge fund investors to forty-five hedge fund investments. Currently, James is producing an upcoming thriller film titled “Selfless” with his own banner of Endgame Entertainment with Film District.
