Richard Gomez

Richard Icasiano Gomez is known for his versatility in careers. Born on 7 April 1966 at Manila, Philippines, he was a little kid of fourth grade when his parents got divorced. After separation of his parents, he was taken away by Lola (his grandmother). He shared a great bonding with his grandmother Lola. He completed his graduation in 2009 from University of Philippines Open University. Since his childhood, he got compliments on his good looks.

He started his career with modeling. On the first note, Richard wasn’t into acting. But his manager took him to some producer and get him signed his first movie without any auditions. The movie with which he kick-started his acting career was ‘Inday Bote’. He also acted in some TV shows and hosted two game shows on television. Richard was always a risk taker. He was also an athlete as he played fencing and basketball. He was a gold medalist in South Asian games, 2005 for fencing.Being an extremely handsome and sexy model he couldn’t resist himself of making headlines for many hook-ups.

His relationship with Dawn Zulueta, Sharon Cuneta and Patricia Borromeo made hotlines. But he got married to Lucy Torres in 1998. The couple had a beautiful daughter ‘Juliana Gomez’ as their first baby. In 2007, he stepped into politics. He stood for the post of a senator.

But unfortunately, he lost that. When he thought to become a congressman in 2010, he was disqualified by Election of Commission he could not ratify his residency. His fans out of love called him ‘GOMA’. He also tried his luck in business. He ventured into a restaurant business. He was a co-owner of FELIX. He was also a part of that bunch of people who worked with GMA network.At present, he has a great working career of thirty years and still going on.
