Tone Bell, born on 10 August, 1983, is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He was born in Decatur, Georgia. Bell worked as a brand manager for Swivel Media in San Francisco for a year before returning to Atlanta. He began performing promotion work for a beer firm there, which eventually sent him to Dallas, where he played open mics in various comedy clubs. Bell won the NBC Stand Up For Diversity Talent Search in 2012, shortly after arriving at Los Angeles, and was given a development deal by the network. In the NBC comedy Whitney, he played "RJ," the bartender, and subsequently as "Tedward" in the NBC sitcom Bad Judge.
Bell has also been in VH1's Single Ladies, Mean It with Whitney Cummings, Comedy Central's Key and Peele, and Game Program Network's Mind of a Man, hosting the inaugural season of MTV's hidden camera show Jerks with Cameras. Bell also has a web series called The Green Room on Russell Simmons' YouTube site, All Def Digital. After starring in the Netflix multi-camera comedy Disjointed, Bell was cast as the lead in the CBS comedy pilot Fam in March 2018.
